Top 4 updates to the new Specialty Products Guide and The Andersons product portfolio

We are always excited to release a new resource for our dealers, distributors and growers. Below is a summary of the top four updates made in the latest edition of the Specialty Products Guide.
#1: NEW PRODUCTS
Providing industry-leading products and technology is a focus at The Andersons. The years 2020 and 2021 have been full of new product releases that help improve overall crop health and increase yield at harvest. Our latest product releases are now included in the newest edition of the Specialty Products Guide:
- Biological Product Lineup – page 17
- Tri Z® Pro liquid nutrient package – page 18
- Eezy® K 24 0-0-24 potassium acetate – page 22
- PureStart™ liquid organic row-starter – page 28
#2: PRODUCT NAME UPDATES
After receiving feedback from dealers and growers, a few products were renamed to better reflect what they are and expand their use to other crops.
- Korrect® Plus: Previously known as Bean Maker, Korrect Plus features a combination of highly available, mild form of potassium, EDTA chelated manganese, and a safe, effective source of boron.
- Over Pass® 22-0-2: Previously known as OverPass CF, Over Pass 22-0-2 provides slow release nitrogen, potassium, sulfur and boron in foliar form.
- Over Pass 10-2-10: Previously known as OverPass SF, Over Pass 10-2-10 is a great fit for all crops. It provides slow-release nitrogen, potassium and manganese to the crop.
- Tri Z: Previously known as Triple Crown, Tri Z combines three sources of zinc and is designed to be mixed with APP fertilizers.
#3: NEW RESEARCH
All research highlighted in the guide has been updated based on the most up-to-date research available through multiple trial locations. Our products are featured in the Beck’s Practical Farm Research (PFR)® trials, with five products proudly earning the PFR Proven™ Stamp. #4: UPDATED PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
A new standard for salt-out temperature testing was recently established to ensure all fertilizer products across the industry comply with the same testing protocol. Our materials were updated to include products’ salt-out temperatures to comply with the newly set industry standard.
As the salt-out temperatures were tested according to the industry standard, we also reviewed each product’s density. Using industry-standard methods, the weight per gallon of each product was carefully reviewed and updated if needed.
