DISCLAIMER: These spreader settings were established using standard equipment available from the spreader manufacturer at swath widths and speeds typically used within the industry. Many variables such as walking speed, terrain, particle size, density, and spreader condition can affect these settings. These suggested settings are estimations based on past experience and testing. Spreader settings are intended as a guide and unit calibration should still be performed to ensure proper application rates. Settings are approximate only.

Spreader Calibration
Having an accurately-calibrated spreader is crucial to make sure fertilizer is not wasted or overapplied. Although your professional rotary spreader was factory calibrated when originally shipped, we recommend periodically checking the calibration and adjusting if necessary. This quick guide helps you return your spreader’s rate plate setting back to its factory calibration.
Model 2000 SR Rotary Spreader
Stainless steel frame rotary spreader. Patented helical cone-adjust spread pattern for better accuracy. Heavy duty stainless steel frame for long life. Pneumatic tires. Right side deflector shield and hopper cover included.

LCO-1000 Rotary Spreader
Durable, stainless steel frame. Four total grease zerks for easy lubrication. Quick open gear housing so no tools are required. 21-inch wheel base is wider than most, providing added stability. Unique dual rate setting mechanism accommodates both The Andersons and JDL High Wheel settings. Optional side deflector kit available.

Model SSD Drop Spreader
All stainless construction provides outstanding durability and corrosion resistance. Same spreader mechanism and spreader settings as the original Model SSD. Larger 13 (33 cm) Turf Saver 2 pneumatic wheels for an easier push. Extended ergonomic handle is more durable. Lift handles in the front and back for easier loading and unloading.

Prizelawn® ARC 1 Spreader Calibrator
The Prizelawn Calibrator attaches to the spreader and collects granular materials or seeds, which can then be easily removed for weighing to determine the accuracy of the spreader setting with a given product. The ARC 1 Calibrator will fit most professional rotary spreaders.
