For your convenience, The Andersons has 4 categories of micronutrient products – Micronutrient-Based Solutions, Citric Chelated Micronutrients, Nulex® Ammoniated Zinc, and EDTA Chelated Solutions. Choosing the best product depends on your application rate, placement, timing, tank mix, plant development, and budget.
Micronutrient-Based Solutions
Micronutrient-Based Solutions products are highly clean, pure, and true. They are manufactured with the highest quality raw materials and are compatible with most fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides.
Product Spotlight
MicroCarb®
MicroCarb contains carbon and natural plant extracts to increase the soil cation exchange capacity to improve nutrient availability and promote both root development and the fruiting capability of plants. MicroCarb is compatible with low-salt liquid starters.
Citric Chelated Micronutrients
Citric Chelated Micronutrients are designed for soil or foliar application. They are compatible with most herbicides, insecticides, and agricultural chemicals that can be used with liquid fertilizers.

MicroNourish®
MicroNourish is a highly compatible micronutrient package designed to improve plant health and increase yield. It increases nutrient efficiency, alleviates plant stress, and aids in vital physiological processes.
Nulex Ammoniated Zinc
Nulex ammoniated complexes (available in 10%, 15% or 20%) are designed to mix with ammonium polyphosphate (APP) solutions and are compatible with UAN and ammonium thiosulfate. They may be applied at planting, broadcast, or through fertigation, and may be stored at low temperatures.

Nulex 15%
When applied with a liquid starter in a concentrated band underneath the soil surface at planting, Nulex 15% can be ten times more effective than dry broadcast zinc. It enables nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and sulfur to better feed nutrient-hungry plants.
EDTA Chelated Solutions
EDTA Chelated Solutions are clear, clean, pure, and true liquid solutions. These products can be soil or foliar applied and are designed for use in liquid fertilizers and suspensions. They are compatible with most fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides. EDTA and HEDTA Chelated Solutions help prevent and correct nutrient deficiencies. They are critical during various growth and reproductive stages.

EDTA Chelated Zinc 9%
EDTA Chelated Zinc 9% is a fully chelated solution of zinc derived from EDTA and is recommended for the prevention and correction of zinc deficiencies in all crops and soil types.
EDTA Chelated Corn Mix
EDTA Chelated Corn Mix (available in custom formulations) is intended for the prevention and/or correction of copper, manganese, and zinc deficiencies. It can be applied alone or in combination with compatible agriculture chemicals or liquid fertilizers, including those containing 100% orthophosphate and suspensions.

The research is clear. MicroSolutions micronutrients outperform competitive micronutrient products, boosting yields up to eleven bushels/acre!

When applied in-furrow with a low-salt starter (9-18-9), just 1 qt/A of MicroCarb boosted yields 10.6 bu/A over the check.
Early in the growing season, the blocks with starter were visually evident as the starter treatments produced more top growth and roots. The addition of adding 1 qt/A of Corn Mix to the 6-24-6 application showed a 7 bu/A advantage over 6-24-6, and an 11 bu/A advantage over the check. This plot was replicated 3 times to help alleviate variability.
