Combatting Surfactant Burns on Soybeans
- Excessive rain has caused an underdeveloped waxy cuticle on the leaf resulting in burned tissue when surfactant is applied
- Soybeans can recover quicker with application of Overpass® SF and Phosfix® products
Effects of Corn Diseases
- Southern rust can be detrimental to entire fields causing corn that doesn’t produce any ears
- Corn can recover faster with Phosfix and Overpass CF with fungicide application
Identifying Characteristics of Corn Diseases
- Northern corn leaf blight has long, cigar-shaped lesions on the corn leaf
- Grey leaf spot has spotty, rectangular shapes that start small and grow bigger
- Southern rust has rusty colored lesions on the corn leaf
