In this week’s crop update, Agronomist Dave Dyson and Product Specialist Jessica Link discuss management of soybeans heading into the reproductive stages and scouting fields during corn pollination.
Soybean Management
- Yield is being determined in the reproductive stages
- It is essential to keep stress to a minimum, otherwise yield will be compromised
- Apply OverPass® SF to maintain proper nutrition levels in the plant
Corn Pollination
- Corn silks need to be a half inch or longer for pollination to occur
- When scouting fields, be on the lookout for silk feeding insects
- Apply OverPass® CF to maintain proper nutrition levels in the plant
